Aloft Hotels in July announced the debut of the Asia Pacific edition of Project Aloft Star, in collaboration with MTV. The music talent discovery competition that aimed to identify and support the hottest emerging music artists from China, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The Indian Leg saw the regional finals happening at Aloft, Bangalore on September 26th. We were invited to witness some amazing singers from different parts of our country battle it out to win the coveted Project ALOFT Star title.

Starting through August 24, 2014, unsigned bands and artists were invited to showcase their talents by uploading an original video showcasing their music to www.mtvasia.com/projectaloftstar for the chance to be named Asia’s first Project Aloft Star winner. The winner receives US $10,000 cash and a chance to be featured on MTV.

After a great battle of music between the talented singers, Natania Lalwani was adjudged as the winner who bagged the winning trophy of Project Aloft Star Regional Finale, who now goes on to perform at the finals of Project Aloft Star.
About the winner: Natania graduated from Musician's Institute (Los Angeles) with a degree in Vocal Performance. Since then she has been writing for other artists like Neon Hitch (Warner Bros) and Grayce (Independent). Her music has been on VH1,MTV,Radio Freedom and you can hear her in over 5000 locations around the USA in retail spaces like Target,Walmart,Best Buy etc.

The night wasn't over here with my birthday being celebrated at the Hotel at midnight. Aloft Bengaluru had also invited us to stay over for a night at the hotel and experience the hospitality.

I had a great time listening to great voices at the Regional finale of the Project Aloft Star followed by a night stay celebrating my birthday and to experience the hospitality.
