Madhur Bhandarkar unveils the trailer of Indu Sarkar: Kirti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh deliver outstanding performances

The power-packed trailer of Indu Sarkar has been unveiled today.  The movie stars Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Supriya Vinod and Anupam Kher. Prior to this, the posters of Indu Sarkar movie have already been causing quite a stir on the social media and the trailer takes the excitement to the whole new level.

First look of the movie was released almost a week back which had Kirti Kulhari, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Anupam Kher.

The second poster gave away the look of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Supriya Vinod.

The final and complete poster was released today before the trailer which combined both the posters to complete this poster puzzle.

Indu Sarkar is directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. The backdrop of the movie is Indira Gandhi’s declaration of Emergency in India during the 21-month period from 1975 to 1977. Kirti plays a stammering poetess in the movie, which is a fictional human drama, but Inspired by true events.

The film presented by Bharat Shah, produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and Mega Bollywood. Indu Sarkar has been shot in New Delhi, Mumbai and Pune and will release on July 28, 2017.

Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai is a slice of life that you will relish for a long time

Today the official trailer of much awaited Bollywood drama Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai was showcased to fans and media. The Star cast of Jeena Isi Ka Naan Hai includes Arbaaz Khan, Ashutosh Rana, HimanshKohli, ManjariFadnis, Supriya Pathak, Rati Agnihotri and Prem Chopra. The movie is directed by Keshhav Panneriy and produced by Purnima Mead under the Bibia Films Private Ltd.

Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai is a family entertainer with a perfect blend of action, romance and comedy. The storyline is realistic and people of all age will easily be able to relate to the storyline of the movie. The story embarks from a small-town in Rajasthan, weaving itself through Mumbai & then finally culminating in New York. Each character in the film is as diverse and unique in themselves like the flavours of India, which not only adds different slices of life to the film but also exhibits the colourful journey of life.

The movie has been shot across various places in India and USA and captures the grandeur of the countries in its true form.

The musical teaser and motion poster of the movie are also out and have left a lasting impression in the minds of the viewers.

The music of the movie is composed by Harry Anand, Onkar Minhas, Siddhant Madhav, Deepak Aggarwal & Vishoo Mukherjee. The film will release worldwide on 3rd March, 2017.

'Mujhko Tere Ishq Mein Bhiga De' is the perfect song for this season of love

If you love slow romantic numbers, then you must check out the attest track from ‘Mujhko Tere Ishq Mein Bhiga De’ from the forthcoming movie Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. The musical teaser can also be seen along with the movies Raees & Kaabil in theatres.

The lyrics are well complemented by picturesque backdrop of rustic Rajasthan and the Sea. The video of the song tries to capture vivid colours of Love, all the natural elements of life & the grandeur of India.

The song is sung by none other than Ankit Tiwari, whose earlier romantic numbers such as Galiyan and Tu Hai Ki Nahi have already been chartbusters and  Mujhko Tere Ishq Mein Bhiga De seems to be on track to be the same. The lyrics have been penned by Kunwar Juneja& the music is by Harry Anand.

The song Mujhko Tere Ishq Mein Bhiga De features on the fresh couple Himansh-Manjari in the film and they look very refreshing and seem to share a sizzling chemistry.

Rajasthan was the perfect location for Mujhko Tere Ishq, where every locale is as raw & rustic as Ankit’s voice and does justice to not only the song but Himansh & Manjari as well. The second musical teaser of the much awaited movie Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai (JIKNH) has been released to the audience today. The song is titled Qubool Hai and is a peppy number set in the 1980s. It is a fun college number that is sure to remind listeners of the popular songs like “Yeh Ladka Hai Deewana” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and “Khud Ko Kya Samajhati Hai” from the movie Khiladi.

The nok jhok and the fun elements in the song Qubool Hai are sure to touch a cord with the audience. The song is sung by Ash King and Shilpi Rao.

Iti Acharya crowned the winner in Mr and Miss South India

Iti Acharya has been crowned as the winner of Mr and Miss South India 2016 that was held in Bangalore recently. Iti is already an established model and an actress and it comes as a little surprise that she bagged this pageant as well. She was presented the title by veteran Kannada Director Dore Bhagwan and Smt. Ambujakshi

In the past Iti has been the face of many prestigious brands and has worked in Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil industry. Her last release was Deal Raja, which also starred the king of comedy – Komal Kumar. The movie had been well received by the audience and Iti’s performance had been appreciated by one and all.

Born in Jaipur and brought up in Punjab, Iti has always been passionate about acting and it was a dream come true moment for her be able to win the pageant. Iti was competing with 15 other contestants for the pageant. She managed to impress the judges through her charm, intelligence and oomph factor.

Commenting on her win, Iti said, “I am extremely happy to have won the Mr and Miss South India 2016. At times, it feels like a complete fairy tale moment to me. I would like to dedicate my victory to my parents, who have been a great support in my life. All the other participants were equally talented and I am really grateful that my hardwork has paid off. I believe that Mr and Miss South India is a great platform to showcase your talent and bring out the best in you”.


Iti started her career her modelling career in 2010. She already has some interesting projects in her kitty and will also be making her Bollywood debut soon.

Mr and Miss South India is one of the oldest and a prestigious pageant that is hosted in Bangalore every year.

Fawad Khan performs to Kal Ho Na Ho at iifa 2016

Loads of pictures and videos have been floating from #iifa2016 which was held in Madrid, Spain. And one person has caught everyone's attention and is none other than FAWAD AFZAL KHAN. Not only is he hosting the show with Karan Johar, he is also performing at iifa 2016.

Fawad Khan performed to a reprise version of the title track Kal Ho Na Ho with his guitar and a couple of dancer performing for the song. Well, I personally loved the performance and the slight change in the tune of the song which otherwise wouldn't go well with me. Fawad surely knows how to swoon anyone with his voice too #iifarocks

India’s World Class Bartender of the Year 2016

The industry’s biggest and most prestigious bartending competition is in its 7th edition offering a gamut of luxury spirits from the Diageo Reserve portfolio namely Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18, Talisker, Tanqueray 10, CÎROC, KetelOne, Don Julio and the Singleton of Glen Ord 12YO.

There were three rounds based on which the contestants were judged and the winner were chosen. The Pantry Round, The Speed Round and The Mystery Box Round decided the winner of India’s World Class Bartender of the Year 2016. Each bartender went through a rigorous training procedure to survive till the end and had their eyes firmly set on the global finals in Miami.

Over the last six months, the contenders from the most prominent bars in India competed in multiple regional levels before descending in Bangalore for the national finals. Top 20 bartenders were judged by an expert panel consisting of Feroze Merchant, Head of Luxury, USL Diageo, Nicholas Ord, USL Diageo Reserve Brand Ambassador, Jamie Walker, USL Diageo Reserve Brand Ambassador, Serhan Kusakisizoglu, Director of Corporate Projects, Shangri La, Nicole Faria, ex Miss Earth 2010 and Manu Chandra, Chef Partner Toast & Tonic (Bangalore), Monkey Bar (Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai), The Fatty Bao (Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai), and Executive Chef Olive Beach, Bangalore. The selected bartenders exhibited originality and all the right skills throughout the competition that they were judged on to test their ingenuity. Of the 20 talented challengers, Jitender Singh, from Story, Gurgaon emerged as the winner for mastering these pre-requites and displaying unparalleled skills with utmost passion.

Jitender edged his competitors and swayed the judges with his speed, meticulous execution and balanced cocktails at the Indian final. Runner up Vikram Ku and Runner Dilbar Singh from Delhi/Noida too impressed the judges and the attendees with their creativity and craftsmanship, thus earning them the second and third position respectively.

The winner and India finalist, Jitender Singh will now take on the world’s best bartenders at Diageo’s eighth annual Global Diageo World Class Competition that will be held in Miami in September, 2016.

#LoveScotch campaign continues with Anushka Manchanda & Nakul Shenoy

As you would have read about the launch of #LoveScotch on World Whisky Day in Bengaluru, the campaign continued this week with Singer and musician Anushka Manchanda and the Mentalist, mind reader Nakul Shenoy. The evening had some candid conversations and precious moments around Scotch whisky which began at The Permit Room and ended at Arbor Brewing Company.

This evening too marked the celebration of Scotch Whisky as Anushka and Nakul shared their experiences about their favourite scotch. They got behind the bar and tried their hand at creating signature exotic cocktails with the help of United Spirits Reserve Brand Ambassador Andrew Qadri. Anushka went with the West Coast Julep made with the iconic Johnnie Walker Black Label while Nakul created Sunset Cinnamon infused with Black Dog Black Reserve. You can try your hands at the same too.

Black Dog Black Reserve: Sunset Cinnamon

45ml Black Dog Black Reserve, 10 ml Cinnamon syrup, 2 of Maraschino Cherries, 5 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir all the ingredients over ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Black Label: West Coast Julep

45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label, 20 ml ginger infused honey syrup, 30ml apple juice, 10 fresh mint leaves, 5 ml lime juice. Add all ingredients to shaker and shake hard. Then double strain into a rocks glass, add crushed ice and serve with a fresh mint sprig garnish.

Anushka Manchanda shred her love for Scotch Whisky saying that her father’s favourite Scotch Whisky is Johnnie Walker Black Label and hence hers too. It's the first whisky she knew, and the one she enjoy sipping the most. 

While Nakul Shenoy said that she enjoys his glass of Vat69 Scotch Whisky. Whether neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail, there is no right or wrong way to drink Scotch whisky, as long as you enjoy it.

The evening became interesting when Anushka broke into an impromptu gig while Nakul showcased his mind reading skills. This week's pub crawl got the crowd of Bengaluru share its love for Scotch Whisky and getting them more excited for further pub crawl's.
