Regional finale of Project Aloft Star

Aloft Hotels in July announced the debut of the Asia Pacific edition of Project Aloft Star, in collaboration with MTV. The music talent discovery competition that aimed to identify and support the hottest emerging music artists from China, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

The Indian Leg saw the regional finals happening at Aloft, Bangalore on September 26th. We were invited to witness some amazing singers from different parts of our country battle it out to win the coveted Project ALOFT Star title.

Uber MINI on roads

Mexico on your plate at Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock Cafe is bringing you the sound, culture and taste of Mexico with Mexican Fiesta from 1st September to 28th September. It is a carnival of aromas and flavors of traditional Mexican delicacies on your plate. My palate was waiting to taste Mexican dishes in Bangalore during the chef's table.

We started our evening with a round of mocktail and Mexican cocktails. Fool's gold was one of the favorite and most preferred drink which was a mishmash of tequila, triple sec, lime juice, coke, tabasco and sugar syrup. I enjoyed my evening with some of the famous cooler's of HRC.

India’s first custom’s car show and concert, MoC 2014 Bengaluru

Sunday, 14th September was a day to remember for Bengaluru as it hosted India’s first custom’s car show and concert, MoC 2014. The all-day event is construed in two parts, the first half of the event will feature the Showdown of Cars in the various categories they would compete for performance, audio installation, 4x4 off-roaders, interior and exterior, games and contests. And the second part will be devoted purely towards the concert, with a lineup of Well Known Indian & International DJ's.

Sporty feel at SBX Sports and Music Bar

I wanted to visit a new place to ring in my Mom's birthday. On my little food adventure, I came across a this recently opened sports bar named SBX sports and music bar located on the 4th floor of Soul Space Arena Mall, Mahadevpura.

It is a nice big place and it is true to its name. Sports and music is the theme of the bar. One can enjoy a game of Foosball, carrom, snooker table or can have conversations by the bar counter while listening to some amazing music played by the DJ.

It was a week long culinary celebration showcasing Times Food Award 2014 winning restaurants across 6-cities.
